I first encountered Mohammad while he was a master’s student, and I was his thesis advisor at the time. He was an exceptional student, and he presented at the power electronics laboratory of the university every day of the week to work on a variety of projects. His time management was impeccable, and despite the fact that he completed his master’s degree in two years, we cooperated on many unique research ideas. Mohammad’s thesis focused on developing a control algorithm to improve the structure of modular multilevel converters, and he was able to apply his method to other multilevel converter topologies. He is a professional engineer with impressive skills in developing and implementing laboratory prototypes. Mohammad was a helpful student who, after completing his projects, worked as a counselor to other students and did various practical projects with them. I have never met somebody as enthusiastic about laboratory and experimental activities as Mohammad in my whole academic life. He is also an adept computer and laptop technician, and he has repaired all of the laboratory’s malfunctioning computers using his outstanding intellect and mighty hands. I am confident that he is qualified for any upper-level academic position since he has dedicated his entire life to accomplishing his long-term scientific objectives. It gives me tremendous pleasure and honor to recommend Mr. Mohammad Bagheri for any academic or job program.
